Practicing Good Aura Hygiene: Tips for a Healthier Energy Field

In our busy lives, it's essential to maintain a clean and vibrant aura. Just as we care for our physical bodies, taking care of our energetic field is crucial for our overall well-being. Here are some straightforward and effective methods to practice good aura hygiene.


1. Harness the Power of Crystals


Crystals are powerful tools for protection, healing, and energetic cleansing. Here are some recommended options:


  • Black Tourmaline: This crystal is known for its protective qualities, grounding you and shielding your energy from negativity.

  • Tourmalinated Quartz: Ideal for amplifying healing energy, it aids in chakra balancing.

  • Smoky Quartz: Perfect for psychic protection and EMF shielding, it also helps relieve stress.

  • Black Obsidian: Excellent for cleansing psychic smog, remember to cleanse this crystal regularly with selenite.

  • Fluorite: Known for absorbing negative energy, it also benefits from frequent cleansing with selenite.

  • Clear Quartz: A powerful transmuter of negativity, place it in the corners of your home to enhance the effects of other crystals.

  • Red Jasper: Use this crystal to cleanse your aura and reflect negative energy away.

  • Selenite: Ideal for daily cleansing, use selenite to clear your aura both morning and night. You can recharge other crystals by placing them on a selenite plate for at least four hours.


2. Cleanse your Aura and home


Use sage or selenite to cleanse your aura. Selenite is quick and easy. To cleanse with selenite, circle your body from head to toe while affirming your intention to clear any and all negative energies and low vibrations.


Are you someone who enjoys diffusing oils in your home year-round? Whether you do it randomly or daily, try combining Frankincense and Myrrh. This blend is effective against negative energies and works as well as burning or diffusing Sage. For an even more powerful cleansing effect, you can add Sage oil to the diffuser along with the other two oils. I like to also throw in lavender and/or sweet orange to lighten the earthy scents.


3. Grounding Yourself


Grounding is a simple yet effective way to release unwanted energies and revitalize your energy field. Visualize roots extending from your feet deep into the Earth, anchoring you to Mother Gaia. Maintain this visualization until you feel connected to the Earth’s core, and don’t forget to express gratitude for this grounding connection. Bonus points for actually going outside and doing this while barefoot on the ground daily!


If you’re not in the mood to visualize, that's perfectly fine! Simply take a moment each day to stand barefoot on the ground. Research has shown that this practice is physically beneficial for your body, in addition to its spiritual advantages. 4. Create a Protection Bubble


After cleansing your aura and grounding, it’s vital to protect it with a "protection bubble." Picture a radiant golden light surrounding you, forming a protective sphere. You can also extend this protection bubble to your loved ones, including children, partners, and even pets, whether they are near or far. Setting your intention is key to this practice.


I have my daughters, 10 & 11, do this every night on themselves and whoever else they want to send it to. We call it ““Love Bubbles”.


5. Put on your Dragon Skin Wetsuit


Envision slipping into a full-body wetsuit, but instead of neoprene, picture it crafted from dragon skin. Dragons have existed for ages and often collaborate with us, whether we realize it or not. This imagery provides an additional layer of protection, so ensure that every part of your body, including your face, is fully covered.


6. Use an Invisibility Cloak


Believe it or not, visualizing an invisibility cloak can help shield you from negative energies. Combine this technique with your cleansing rituals for added protection. When you envision yourself putting on the cloak, remember to cover your head and face with the hood to complete the effect.


7. Hop in the Merkaba


Merkabas are not just fascinating geometric shapes; I refer to them as "Astral-mobiles." Each night, as we drift off to sleep, we engage in astral projection, whether we remember it or not – it's something everyone experiences. During the night, we are active explorers, shining brightly in the darkness, which draws in energies similar to how a porch light attracts moths. When we visualize ourselves within a merkaba, it's akin to placing our souls inside a protective vehicle, allowing us to navigate the astral realm without anything clinging to us, much like riding a motorcycle without a face shield.

By integrating crystals, grounding techniques, protective visualizations, and love bubbles into your daily routine, you can foster a healthier energy field. While it’s ideal to practice all these methods, it's perfectly fine to start gradually, focusing on one at a time.
